In November / December 2011, solo shows take place at Galerie Conrads, Dusseldorf (November 4 - December 23), and Galerie Eva Presenhuber, Zurich (November 16 - December 23), as well as a group show ('Die Kunst der Entschleunigung') at Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg (from November 11).
An interesting new publication is 'Swiss Photobooks from 1927 until today', recently published by Fotostiftung Schweiz and Lars Müller Publishers, featuring one of my first book projects, 'Rom Paris Fotografien' from 1990.

A monograph 'Public Works 1996 - 2011' will be published by jrp Ringier, Zurich at the end of February 2012. The next solo show will take place at Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea, Cinisello-Balsamo / Milan, in April 2012.

In Krakow, Poland, the inauguration of the new Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCAK)
took place on May 19. On the facade of the building, which is built
around the site of Schindler's factory, a large window work with
portraits of Krakow inhabitants has been installed, as part of the
permanent collection of MOCAK.
Permanent commissioned installations were just produced for Hörmann company headquarters in Bielefeld, and Heilpädagogisches Zentrum in Altdorf, Switzerland. A third one for a new university building in Lucerne is in preparation. The lightbox installation 'La Voie publique', part of the transformation of the railway station of Gent, has been inaugurated recently.
Shows opening in September include 'Welt-Bilder' at Helmhaus, Zurich (September 23 - November 13), and a new commissioned 70 meter billboard as part of Fotofestival in Mannheim (September 10 - November 6).

'Story Lines', a large scale three screen installation for the Singapore Biennial, shot in Singapore and New York and curated by Trevor Smith, opened in early March (until May 15). A life projection and sound performance for MaerzMusik festival, Berlin, takes place at the legendary Berghain club on March 23, 10 pm.

The five screen slide projection 'Bondi Beach/Parammatta Road', originally produced in 1998, will be re-installed at MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst in Francfort, opening on September 24, until April 2011. This major installation is part of the collection of MMK.
